The short answer
Noma is built around an acne routine: a score ring, a streak, daily steps, and scans of face, products and food on the store screens. Beeuty is built around one selfie of the whole face. They overlap on “AI skin,” and that is about as far as the public facts go.
US App Store figures are as of October 2026. We do not invent an onboarding step count. A 26 October 2026 TrustMRR snapshot listed Noma at $264 monthly recurring revenue, 67 active subscriptions and $4,651 total revenue, marked as Superwall-verified. Treat that as a third-party snapshot, not our audit.
What each app actually is
Noma (“Noma - Get Rid of Acne”) is published by AcneAI, LLC. On the US App Store as of October 2026 it shows a 4.70 rating from 164 ratings, version 1.3.2 dated 2 October 2026, and in-app purchases of weekly $4.99, monthly $9.99–14.99, yearly $29.99–49.99 and a $69.99 IAP. Store screenshots, summarised at concept level, lead with a score ring and streak, a daily routine, face, product and food scanning, and user-review screens. Newest US reviews often mention help sticking to an acne routine and a clear interface; they also mention the paywall and a referral-code requirement. We did not confirm official social accounts for this page.
Beeuty (“AI Skin & Face Scanner: beeuty”) is an iPhone and iPad app (iOS 16.4 or later). One selfie produces a 0–100 skin score, an estimated skin age (Glow Age), skin type and phototype, and a face map of acne and blemishes, pores and texture, fine lines, sun damage, hydration and redness. It builds an ingredient-led routine, offers an ingredient guide and a label-reading Ingredient Check, and keeps history. Free to download with optional PRO; analysis photos deleted after 30 days; results stated to be cosmetic estimates, not diagnoses. It is not an acne-only app.

Where Noma is the better choice
- Acne-routine focus. If the job is “help me stick to an acne plan,” that is what US reviews currently praise and what the store screens show.
- Streak and daily routine chrome is on the screenshot set. Beeuty keeps a scan history; it does not advertise a streak.
- Face, product and food scans appear together on the store. Beeuty’s public listing is the selfie analysis plus a label check, not a food scan.
Where Beeuty is the better choice
- More of the face. Acne is one of six mapped concerns, not the whole product. See the blemish map.
- A stated photo policy. Deleted after 30 days. We could not find Noma’s period.
- No referral-code gate in the sources we used. Some US reviews of Noma mention a referral-code requirement; we have not walked that flow.
- Clear cosmetic framing. Beeuty says it does not diagnose. For the medical line, read AI analysis versus a dermatologist.
Who should pick which
Pick Noma if you want an acne-routine tracker with a streak and you are comfortable reading the US listing’s IAP sheet first.
Pick Beeuty if you are on iPhone or iPad and you want a whole-face map, not only an acne tracker.
Painful, cystic or suddenly changing acne still belongs with a clinician. Neither app is a diagnosis.
Looking for a Noma alternative?
If you wanted Noma’s acne tracker and found the paywall or a referral code a poor fit, Beeuty’s blemish map is one layer of a whole-face read. If you wanted food scanning, Beeuty will not replace that. See also Beeuty vs Klaris and Beeuty vs Skan.
